This page explains what happens on this site when a page loads, when a search-engine visitor arrives, and when an outbound link is followed. It describes only what the build of this site actually does, and it asks nothing of the reader in return: no form to fill in, no account to create and no personal detail to hand over.
Visit Counting: search referrals
A first-party visit beacon records a small set of details, but only when a visitor arrives from a search engine. The edge analytics endpoint that receives this data is on the same domain as the site itself.
- What is collected: the page path, the type of event, the name of the referring search engine, and the text of any outbound button that gets clicked.
- When it triggers: only on arrivals from a search engine.
- What it is used for: counting page views and outbound-button clicks, and nothing else.
- Where it lives: the operator's own logs, on the same domain.
Session and Cookie: short retention
Two small mechanisms stop the same visit from being counted twice and let a later click be linked to the search engine that brought the visitor here.
- A session view flag lives in the browser only for the current session, so a single page view is counted once.
- One first-party cookie is set only when a visit arrives from a search engine. It holds nothing but the name of that search engine, lasts up to one hour, and is used only to tell which search engine a later outbound-link click came from.
- No other browser storage and no persistent identifier are set.
Location Data: country only
The content delivery network that serves this site reports the country a request comes from as part of handling that request. Nothing more precise about location is collected.
Page Delivery: self-contained files
Every page here is a self-contained file, served as static hosting on a content delivery network, which acts as the hosting provider and processes the technical data of each request. Fonts are embedded locally rather than pulled from an outside host, so no font, script or other subresource is fetched from a third party while a page is displayed.
Outbound Links: partner sites
Outbound links to third-party sites do not go directly to the partner. Each one passes through a first-party outbound redirect on this domain before reaching the destination.
- The redirect itself does not hand any stored visitor data to the partner.
- Once the link is followed, the partner site receives the request directly from the visitor's browser and keeps its own separate record of it.
- This page has no control over what a partner site does with that request, since it is a separate site outside this domain.
What Is Not Collected: confirmed absences
This site has no forms, no third-party analytics and no contact channels, and it loads no external subresources. It does not collect names, e-mail addresses, account identifiers or payment details, does not use third-party or advertising cookies, and does not share visitor data with advertising networks, data brokers or outside analytics services. There is no login, no registration and no user account anywhere on this site.
